Monsoon Mayhem: Heavy Rain Lashes Mumbai & Neighbouring Areas; Flooded Roads Disrupt Traffic In Vasai, Nalasopara — Video · freepressjournal.in

It rained very hard in the city of Mumbai and the areas around it.

The rain started early in the morning, around 4 am.

Because of all the rain, water flooded many roads in places called Vasai and Nalasopara.

Cars and scooters had a hard time driving through the water, and traffic got very slow.

People walking near the Nalasopara train station had to wade through water to get where they needed to go.

Some shops even got water inside them, which is bad for the shop owners.

The weather experts, called the India Meteorological Department, said more light and moderate rain is expected.

Big highways, like the Eastern and Western Express Highways, also had slow traffic because of the water.

Some roads even had potholes that made driving even harder.

Many people shared videos online showing the flooded streets and the trouble the rain caused.
