Vivek Tiwari’s Palghar Road Hunger Strike Enters Sixth Day

Vivek Tiwari is protesting poor roads in Palghar, Maharashtra.

He is doing this through a hunger strike called “Sadak Satyagraha.”

The protest is focused on the Vasai-Virar region near Mumbai.

Tiwari says the area also needs better infrastructure.

The hunger strike is indefinite and had lasted almost a week.

Thursday was the sixth day of the protest.

A Cockroach Janta Party delegation visited the site.

The delegation showed support and checked on the protesters’ worsening health.

Local Congress leaders and members of other parties also supported the protest.
