Telangana Ministers Question KCR Over Palamuru Project Delay
Telangana ministers visited parts of Wanaparthy and Mahabubnagar districts for development programmes.
Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy criticized former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, known as KCR.
He asked why the Palamuru-Rangareddy irrigation project was not completed as promised.
He also accused KCR of giving more attention to another irrigation project.
Minister Vakiti Srihari said dry conditions were affecting the area.
He asked farmers using the Jurala project to save water.
The ministers announced and launched three road projects costing Rs 134.98 crore.
They said the roads would help farmers, businesses and people visiting the Kurumurthy Swamy temple.
They also inspected construction work on an elevated corridor.
Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy asked KCR why the Palamuru-Rangareddy lift irrigation scheme remains unfinished.
Venkat Reddy alleged that KCR focused on the Kaleshwaram project instead of completing Palamuru-Rangareddy.
Minister Vakiti Srihari urged Jurala farmers to use irrigation water sparingly amid drought conditions.
Three road projects worth Rs 134.98 crore received foundation stones in the Mahabubnagar area.
The ministers also inspected elevated corridor construction near the Purumurthy temple in Chinnachintakunta mandal.
