Union minister G. Kishan Reddy is visiting parts of the Chevella constituency.

He will look at roads, railway stations and other projects paid for with Central government funds.

Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, the local BJP MP, will travel with him.

The MP said most infrastructure work in the area uses money from Central schemes.

He said construction on one important highway has restarted.

He expects that highway to be finished in about six months.

The minister will also visit railway stations being modernised under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

Vishweshwar Reddy also said the BJP plans public protests about problems faced by students, farmers and unemployed young people.
