APEDA boosts India's organic exports at BIOFACH India 2026
India grows lots of healthy food, like rice, spices, tea and honey, without using strong chemicals.
This kind of food is called organic food.
A group called APEDA helps Indian farmers sell this organic food to other countries.
Big buyers from places like Japan, South Korea, Australia and Egypt came to India to see the food and meet the sellers.
They came to a big fair called BIOFACH INDIA 2026.
The fair was held at a huge exhibition centre in Greater Noida, a city near New Delhi, from August 6 to 8.
More than 200 companies showed their products at the fair.
Many farmers, women entrepreneurs and small companies took part.
The idea is to help India sell more organic food around the world and make more money for farmers.
APEDA facilitated participation of more than 35 international buyers from 13 key overseas markets.
BIOFACH INDIA 2026 runs August 6-8 at the India Expo Centre and Mart (IEML) in Greater Noida.
The fair features more than 200 exhibiting companies, with over 60 exhibitors under the APEDA Pavilion.
Buyers from Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Mongolia and Egypt joined structured Buyer-Seller Meets.
