Telangana Delegation Studies Singapore’s AI and Curriculum Reforms
A group from Telangana is visiting Singapore to learn how its schools work.
The visit runs from September 12 to September 18.
The group is studying how Singapore uses computers and artificial intelligence in education.
It is also looking at how students are placed into different subject levels.
Students can study some subjects at easier or harder levels depending on their strengths.
Singapore also provides help inside schools, after school and for younger children.
Teachers, student wellbeing and inclusive education are part of the study too.
The delegation may use these ideas when thinking about school reforms in Telangana.
A Telangana residential education delegation began a week-long study visit to Singapore on September 12, ending September 18.
The delegation is examining Singapore’s subject-based schooling, curriculum, digital learning, artificial intelligence and student support systems.
Singapore’s Full Subject-Based Banding allows students to take different subjects at G1, G2 or G3 levels based on strengths and learning needs.
The visit covers teacher development, inclusion, wellbeing, multilingual education, examination pressure and after-school support.
Singapore’s EdTech Masterplan 2030 includes digital competencies, adaptive learning and artificial intelligence use, while a new secondary certificate will replace O-Level and N-Level exams from 2027.
