JSW MG Motor India is preparing a new electric SUV called the Hector Tomahawk EV.

The company plans to unveil it on August 26.

It is expected to cost between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 30 lakh before taxes and other charges.

The SUV may travel more than 500 km on one battery charge.

These numbers are based on a similar Wuling model, so MG has not confirmed them yet.

A plug-in hybrid version may arrive later and could also use petrol.

The SUV is expected to have three rows of seats and several technology features.

It will be the first vehicle using MG’s new ADAPT platform for electrified vehicles.
