Kanwar Yatra Devotee Killed, Five Injured in Meerut Truck Crash
A group of religious pilgrims was traveling in a pickup truck in Meerut.
They were returning from Haridwar to Etah after collecting kanwars.
On Saturday night, another truck hit the side of their vehicle.
One person, Chandrapal, died.
Five other people were hurt.
Several injured people were taken to Lala Lajpat Rai Medical College in Meerut.
One injured person was taken to Etah for treatment.
Police arrested the truck driver and sent the body for a post-mortem examination.
