Bombay High Court Seeks Safe Relabeling Of Seized eRZL Stock
Bombay HC Seeks Practical Solution To Relabel ₹2.24 Crore eRZL Beverage Stock Without Making It Look Fake · freepressjournal.in

The Bombay High Court is hearing a dispute about eRZL fruit drinks.

Officials seized drinks worth more than ₹2.24 crore because the packages called the product an “electrolyte” beverage.

The State says the drink does not meet the required standards for using that word.

The company says it has already stopped using the word on newly made products.

The State may release the seized drinks if the word is covered before sale.

However, the judges worry that a simple sticker could make real drinks look fake or tampered with.

They asked the company to suggest a better way to change the packaging.

The court will hear the matter again on August 31, 2026.
