The Election Commission of India keeps the list of people who can vote in elections.

It is updating this list, called the electoral roll, for the state of Maharashtra.

People already on the list must fill an Enumeration Form.

They must give the form to a Booth Level Officer who visits homes.

Only people who fill the form will be on the new draft list.

The draft list comes out on August 24, 2026.

If your name is missing, you can apply with Form 6.

The final list comes out on October 27, 2026.

Lying on these forms is against the law and can be punished.
