A new road connector is planned between the Versova-Bandra Sea Link and Bandra West.

It is meant to make it easier to reach Pali Hill.

Today, the 2.6-kilometre trip from the sea link toll plaza can take 20 to 30 minutes.

The proposed connector would be 3.55 kilometres long.

It would have four lanes, with two lanes going in each direction.

The project is expected to cost ₹1,722.40 crore.

The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation plans to choose a separate contractor for it.

That will happen after the project receives Coastal Regulation Zone approvals.

The state government has already given the project administrative approval.
