A leader named J Subhadra told them that public representatives must work hard to solve people's problems.

She said they should help villages grow in every way and protect nature around them.

The leaders were at a one-day learning event in Visakhapatnam.

They learned about a new government program called the Vikasit Bharat mission that promises jobs and livelihoods in rural areas.

This program is run through village councils and district bodies.

The leaders learned how to find out what villages need by holding village meetings called gram sabhas.

They also learned to check that the money is used properly and that the work done is of good quality.

Other officials explained that the government wants everyone to have equal chances and fair development.

The leaders were asked to work together with officials so that the benefits truly reach the people who need them.
