Visakhapatnam’s MP says the city will have enough water for the future.

He estimates that the city will need 1,500 million litres of water each day by 2040.

This estimate includes homes, new factories and data centres.

He says the Polavaram project will leave the city with an extra 600 million litres daily.

Some Opposition members are worried that Google’s large data centre could use too much water.

The MP says the centre will use advanced air-cooling technology.

He also says the facility will produce its own power.

According to him, the project will create jobs and help other businesses grow.
