Indore Aranya Core House Allottees Receive Relief On Lease Renewals

The Aranya Core House Scheme is an old housing project in Indore.

It was created in 1978 and is home to more than 1,000 families.

Many families built or lived in houses without getting the required permission.

This caused problems when they tried to renew their housing leases.

Their leases had already expired after they had lived there for more than 30 years.

They also had difficulty selling their homes or getting bank loans.

The Indore Development Authority has now approved a plan to help them renew their leases.

The municipal corporation must regularise the construction within two years.

The decision was proposed after officials considered the difficulties faced by economically weaker families.
