Bihar Plans ₹70,000 Crore, 126-Km Marine Drive Along Ganga

The project is estimated to cost ₹70,000 crore, including ₹20,000 crore from the state and ₹50,000 crore from private entities.
The proposed corridor would begin at Koilwar on the Son River and extend along the Ganga.
It would expand Patna’s existing approximately 21-kilometre Marine Drive, initiated in 2013 and completed in 2025 at a cost of about ₹6,000 crore.
Choudhary said the expansion would develop infrastructure, attract investment and create employment opportunities.
