Mumbai Police Gets ₹1.27 Crore for 30-Horse Mounted Unit

The Mumbai Police are getting ₹1.27 crore to start a new unit with 30 horses.

This money will buy horses, saddles, and training equipment.

It will also pay for trainers and vet checks.

The unit will help with big crowds, beach patrols, and special events.

The government approved this plan in 2019, but the money is just now available.

38 police officers will be moved to this new unit to take care of the horses and do patrols.
