Three UAE-based Indian skydivers unfurl tricolour in world record jump
Three people who were born in India and now live in the UAE did something very brave.
They jumped out of an airplane that was flying 13,000 feet above the ground.
While falling through the sky, they opened up the big Indian flag.
They were part of a big group of 65 skydivers from about 38 countries.
Each skydiver carried their own country's flag for the jump.
The jump happened over a city called Benghazi in Libya.
They all had to be very careful so the flags did not get stuck in their parachutes.
They also had to land inside a special area where cameras could watch them.
A few days later, Guinness World Records said a new world record had been set.
The record was confirmed just before India's Independence Day, which made the moment extra special for the Indian jumpers.
Three India-born UAE residents — Jamsheer Thanalot, Abhishek Rawat and Isha Raj — were the only Indians among 65 skydivers who jumped at 13,000 feet over Benghazi, Libya.
The group set a Guinness World Record for the most skydivers jumping together with national flags from a single aircraft.
Participants from roughly 38 nationalities carried about 35 different national flags during the jump on 7 August.
Guinness World Records officially confirmed the record on 14 August, just ahead of India's Independence Day.
Skydivers had to keep their large flags from tangling with parachutes, maintain safe distance, and land inside a camera-covered zone for the attempt to count.
