Telangana Gets 3,981 Approved PG Medical Seats for 2026-27
Telangana has been approved to offer 3,981 postgraduate medical seats in the 2026-27 academic year.
These seats are spread across government, private and deemed medical colleges.
Students can study subjects such as medicine, surgery and several super-specialties.
The approved courses include MD, MS, DM, M.Ch.
and postgraduate diploma programmes.
Osmania Medical College, Gandhi Medical College and Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences have many of the listed seats.
Government medical colleges in several Telangana districts are also included.
The National Medical Commission said pending requests for new or additional seats are not part of this list.
Colleges must not admit more students than their approved capacity.
Telangana has 3,981 approved postgraduate medical seats for 2026-27.
