Tamil Nadu CM presents Rs 80 lakh incentive to Commonwealth Games medal winners

Some very good athletes from a place called Tamil Nadu went to big sports games in Glasgow, Scotland.

These games are called the Commonwealth Games, where athletes from many countries compete.

Three athletes from Tamil Nadu won shiny medals there.

Raja Muthupandi won a silver medal in weightlifting, which means he lifted very heavy weights.

Praveen Chithravel also won a silver medal in the triple jump, which is like hopping and leaping far.

Selva Prabhu won a bronze medal in the triple jump too, which is still a great achievement.

Their leader, the Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay, was very proud of them.

He gave them money as a big thank-you gift, totaling Rs 80 lakh.

He said their hard work makes Tamil Nadu and India proud.

He also hopes their success will encourage other young people to play sports and try their best.
