South Central Railway announces special trains for Coimbatore-Jaipur, Bandra-Velankanni, Puri-Solapur
The railway company that runs trains in part of India is adding special new trains.
During August and September, many people want to travel by train.
These extra trains will help more people get seats.
One set of special trains will go between the cities of Coimbatore and Jaipur.
Another set will travel between Bandra Terminus and Velankanni.
There will also be a one-way train from Puri to Solapur.
The trains stop at many stations along the way.
Some of the coaches are air-conditioned with beds, while others have simple seats that cost less.
This way, more people can visit their families or go on trips.
South Central Railway announced special trains on three routes — Coimbatore-Jaipur, Bandra Terminus-Velankanni and Puri-Solapur — to meet passenger demand during August and September.
Train Nos. 06181/06182 between Coimbatore and Jaipur will run weekly from August 13 to September 6, with four trips in each direction using all-AC Three-Tier coaches.
Train Nos. 09059/09060 between Bandra Terminus and Velankanni will operate on August 27 and September 1, with return trips on August 30 and September 4.
Train No. 08445, a one-way special from Puri to Solapur, will run on August 7 with Sleeper and General Second Class coaches.
The special services aim to provide additional capacity and reduce waiting lists on these busy long-distance corridors.
