13th Telangana State Yoga Championship Begins in Karimnagar
A yoga championship has started in Karimnagar.
It is the 13th state-level competition of its kind.
Boys and girls are competing in sub-junior and junior groups.
The Karimnagar District Yoga Association organised the event.
It is being held at Alphores e-Techno School in Kothapalli.
Vutukuri Narender Reddy opened the event.
He said yoga can help people stay physically fit and mentally healthy.
He encouraged people of every age to practise yoga daily.
He also hoped more athletes from Telangana would take part in yoga at the 2036 Olympics in India.
