President Murmu presents Handloom Awards at 12th National Handloom Day
A very special day happened in India called National Handloom Day.
Handloom means making cloth like sarees and fabrics by hand on a wooden loom, instead of using big machines.
The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, gave special prizes called awards to weavers who make beautiful cloth.
Some weavers got the Sant Kabir Awards and others got the National Handloom Awards.

She conferred 3 Sant Kabir Handloom Awards and 19 National Handloom Awards on outstanding weavers and called for proactive hand-holding of young entrepreneurs entering the sector.
