Balkrishna Industries makes many kinds of tyres used by farms, factories, trucks and mining vehicles.

The company wants to grow its yearly revenue from ₹10,823 crore to ₹23,000 crore by FY30.

It has started making tyres for trucks and two-wheelers and will launch passenger-car tyres in November.

These new products are part of its on-road tyre business.

BKT hopes that business will generate ₹5,000 crore by FY30.

The company is also continuing to grow its older off-highway tyre business and its carbon-black business.

Its first year in the new categories is expected to be mainly a preparation period.

BKT faces higher costs and says it may need to raise prices again.

Its latest quarterly results were stronger, even though profitability fell during FY26.
