Yogi Launches UP Startup Portal, Announces New Ecosystem Support
Uttar Pradesh has launched a new online portal for startups and entrepreneurs.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath introduced it at an event in Lucknow on August 27.
The government gave money to 107 startups and nine incubators.
It also released the Uttar Pradesh Startup Policy 2026 booklet.
Twelve new incubators were officially recognized.
The chief minister said the state now has more than 24,000 startups and eight unicorns.
He said there were 120 startups in the state before 2017.
The government wants universities to support research and new ideas.
It also plans to encourage technologies such as medical devices, drones, robotics and green hydrogen.
