Eight Service Sub-sectors Record Double-Digit Growth in June
The government measured how different service industries performed in June 2026.
It looked at 19 types of services.
Eight of them grew by more than 10 percent compared with June last year.
Real estate grew the most, at 24.7 percent.
Retail and wholesale businesses also grew strongly.
Air transport was the only service category that became smaller, declining by 6 percent.
The index is still being tested and is not yet a final system.
The government is using the trial to check the data and gather feedback.

Real estate led growth at 24.7%, followed by retail trade at 18.0%.
Wholesale trade grew 15.1%, administrative and support services 14.4%, and IT services 13.5%.
Air transport was the only category to decline, falling 6% annually.
The Index of Services Production is being published experimentally with a 2024-25 base year.
