Modi Sets 2047 Targets: 50 Fortune 500 Companies, Top Bank

India's leader, PM Modi, gave a special speech for India's Independence Day.

In the speech, he talked about big goals for India to reach by the year 2047.

One goal is to have 50 Indian companies on a famous list of the world's biggest companies.

Right now, only nine Indian companies are on that list, called the Fortune Global 500.

He also wants an Indian bank to become one of the five biggest banks in the world.

Another goal is to make much more nuclear power, so India can make lots of electricity.

India also wants to teach ten million young people about artificial intelligence, which is how computers learn.

Modi wants India to build more factories that make computer chips, the 'brains' inside phones and computers.

He also wants Indian medicine companies to be among the biggest in the world.

These goals are meant to help India grow strong, self-reliant and successful in the future.
