Tamil Nadu Unveils 2026-27 AI and Digital Technology Roadmap
Tamil Nadu has made a plan to use technology to improve government and create jobs.
The plan includes artificial intelligence, faster internet, cybersecurity and new technology research.
The state wants AI to help in areas such as health, farming, education and public services.
It also plans to create special centres where researchers, companies and students can work together.
People affected by an AI-assisted government decision would be told that AI was used.
They could ask for a written explanation and request a human review.
The government is also working to protect computer systems and train officials in cybersecurity.
Faster internet is being extended to villages, while startups can receive help paying for data-centre services.
