Naidu Promises Godavari Water for Anakapalli by September
Godavari Water to Reach Anakapalli in September First Week, Says CM · deccanchronicle.com

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu visited Anakapalli district and spoke about future plans.

He said Godavari River water would reach Anakapalli by the first week of September.

He said the water would be used for drinking, farming and filling local ponds and reservoirs.

Naidu said Anakapalli could grow into an important industrial district.

He said data centres could create jobs for many AI workers.

He also said a quantum computer would be built in Amaravati.

The Chief Minister asked villages to turn waste into compost, gas and electricity.

He discussed free cooking-gas support and improvements in government schools.

He also accused the previous government of irregularities, while saying his government was restoring finances and improving transparency.

Water route
Godavari water is to reach Anakapalli through the Polavaram Left Canal.
Expected timing
Naidu said the water would arrive in the first week of September.
Data-centre water requirement
Naidu said all proposed data centres together would require 3.5 TMC of water, which the canal could supply.
Industrial plans
Anakapalli was described as a future industrial district involving steel, pharmaceuticals, aluminium, IT and data centres.
Infrastructure projects
NTR reservoir works were cited at an estimated cost of ₹29 crore, while an industrial township was planned on 10,000 acres.
Waste management
The government said 143 lakh metric tonnes of garbage had been addressed over two years and converted into gas and fertilisers.
Welfare measure
Under Deepam-2.0, the cost of three cooking-gas cylinders is planned to be deposited into women beneficiaries’ bank accounts every four months.
