Bengal Faces Heavy Rain as IMD Issues Fishermen Warning
A weather system is forming over the Bay of Bengal near West Bengal and Odisha.
It is expected to bring a lot of rain to Kolkata and nearby districts.
Some places could receive very heavy rain on Sunday and Monday.
Strong winds are also possible, especially near the coast.
Because the sea may be rough, fishermen have been warned not to go out.
Rain will continue in several districts until Tuesday.

Lighter rain is expected in most districts from September 2 to September 6.
A well-marked low-pressure area over the northwest Bay of Bengal is expected to bring heavy rain to West Bengal over the next three days.
The India Meteorological Department said the system would move west-northwest across North Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal within 24 hours.
East Midnapore, West Midnapore, and Jhargram may receive isolated heavy to very heavy rain on Sunday and Monday.
Heavy rain is forecast for South 24 Parganas, Howrah, Bankura, Purulia, and Kolkata, with some areas receiving 7–11 cm.
Coastal winds may reach 40–50 km/h, and the IMD warned fishermen against venturing into the sea.
