DRDO Extends AMCA Bid Deadline to October 30
India is developing a new stealth fighter aircraft called the AMCA.
The Defence Research and Development Organisation designed the aircraft with its Aeronautical Development Agency.
Companies were asked to submit plans to build the first prototypes.
Some companies requested more time to collect supplier prices and other documents.
The deadline is now October 30, 2026.
The bids will be opened the next day and evaluated before a winner is chosen.
The winner will build five flying prototypes and a test aircraft.
