Collector Sanctions Land for Paddy Godown and Burial Ground

District Collector Himanshu Shukla visited Maktapuram village on Thursday.

He was checking whether government programmes were helping people.

Villagers told him they needed a godown to store paddy.

They also asked for a proper burial ground.

The Collector sanctioned land for these needs.

He asked an officer to find suitable places and prepare proposals.

He also saw farms and spoke with farmers about their problems.

Officials were told to run two bus trips each day from Nellore to the village.
