Nellore Collector fulfills promise, gives Rs 80,000 cheque to entrepreneur

A district leader named Himanshu Shukla made a promise to help a woman in his district.

The woman's name is Yeddula Kalyani, and she lives in a small village called Jangala Kandriga.

Kalyani sells bananas and mangoes to earn money.

She also makes a special plant food called organic manure using cow dung and other ingredients.

She wanted to buy a machine that costs Rs 80,000 to make neem seed powder for her business.

She asked the Collector for help during a village meeting in June.

The Collector liked her hard work and promised to give her the money from his own pocket.

On Monday, he kept his promise and gave her a cheque for Rs 80,000.

This shows that keeping promises can help people grow their small businesses.
