Farmers Urged to Register Crops, Landholdings on e-Panta
Farmers told to register crop details on e-Panta · thehansindia.com

Farmers in Andhra Pradesh are being asked to put their crop and land information on a government website called e-Panta.

They are also being asked to finish a digital identity check called e-KYC.

This information helps the government provide support such as crop insurance, loans and subsidies.

Farmers can enter the information themselves or get help from local agriculture centers.

Private surveyors can also help when the other options are not available.

So far, 5,744 farmers have entered details for 10,226 landholdings themselves.

About 38 lakh farmers are registered, but only around 3% have finished e-KYC.

Farmers with crop insurance should also register their crops and connect all their land to their Farmer ID.
