ISKCON Chennai Celebrates Sri Krishna Janmashtami With Devotional Fervour
ISKCON Chennai held a two-day celebration for Sri Krishna Janmashtami.
The event began on September 3 at the temple on Chennai’s ECR.
Many devotees, families, young people and other visitors took part.
People joined prayers, singing and special ceremonies.
Devotees also fasted during the day and visited the temple to see the deity.
A special bathing ceremony called Maha Abhishekam was performed.
The celebration ended with Maha Arati and prasadam was shared.
