Modi Urges Self-Reliant India as Fastest-Growing Major Economy

On Saturday, India celebrated its Independence Day.

The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, gave a big speech at the Red Fort.

He told the whole country that India's economy is doing very well now.

He said India has become one of the fastest-growing big economies in the world.

He also said India should not depend on other countries for important things.

Instead, India should learn to make its own products and build its own strength.

He used the special word 'Atmanirbhar Bharat', which means a self-reliant India.

He asked everyone to support things made in India and to be proud of local products.

He said every Indian can help make the country stronger and more self-reliant.
