Carver Aviation trainer aircraft veers off Baramati runway, no injuries
A small training airplane had an accident at an airport in Baramati, a town in the Pune district of Maharashtra, a state in India.
The plane belonged to a flying school called Carver Aviation, and inside were a pilot and a student pilot.
They were practicing take-off emergency drills.
During the practice, the plane could not stop in time and rolled about 20 feet past the end of the runway onto the grass.
Luckily, nobody got hurt, though the airplane got some minor damage.
Police are checking whether the plane had a technical problem.
People tell different stories about what happened: some say the plane could not stop during take-off practice around 12.30 pm, while the airport director says it went out of control while taxiing before take-off around 12.20 pm.
This is the third plane mishap at this airport this year, after a crash in January that killed a politician named Ajit Pawar and four others, and an emergency landing in May.
Even though the accident was scary, everyone was safe this time.
