Indore Teachers: AI Should Aid Humanity, Not Replace It
In the city of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, a group called the Ahilya Utsav Samiti held a speaking contest for school teachers.
The topic of the contest was artificial intelligence, which is when computers and machines learn to do smart things.
Teachers from more than 25 schools took part.
They talked about how AI can make life easier and help people work faster.
They also talked about how AI can be dangerous if people use it the wrong way.
For example, it could steal private information or spread fake videos called deepfakes.
The teachers said AI should help people, not replace them.
They said humans should keep using their own creativity and thinking.
The event began with a lamp lighting and a floral tribute to Devi Ahilya.
A teacher named Shubham Sharma won first prize for the best speech.
The Ahilya Utsav Samiti organized an oratory competition for school teachers in Indore on the theme "Importance and Challenges of Artificial Intelligence in the Present Era."
Speakers said AI has improved efficiency and made life easier, but its misuse could threaten privacy, employment, ethics and social harmony.
Teachers stressed that AI must remain a tool for human progress and never replace human creativity, sensitivity or independent thinking.
Participants called for stricter regulations against deepfakes, data theft and misinformation, while noting AI's growing role in healthcare, education, agriculture, security and innovation.
More than 25 schools took part; Shubham Sharma won first prize, while Pawan Yadav and Meenal Patil won the second and third prizes.
