Madhya Pradesh Opens Rs 850 Crore Industrial Units in Pithampur
Madhya Pradesh opened two new factories in the city of Pithampur.
The factories were built by the Pratap Group.
Together, they represent an investment of Rs 850 crore.
One factory will make equipment connected to optical fibre cables.
The other will make battery-storage systems for clean energy.
The factories use support from German technology.
Officials said they can create training and job opportunities for young people.
They also said the projects will help improve digital connections and industrial growth in the state.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated two Pratap Group manufacturing units in Pithampur.
Corsis Industries and Walters Technologies represent a combined investment of Rs 850 crore.
The facilities will manufacture optical fibre products and lithium-battery storage systems.
Officials said the units will support employment, clean energy and digital connectivity.
The projects received German technological support and are located in Madhya Pradesh’s Smart Industrial Park.
