Bandi Praises PM Modi's Free AI Training Plan for Youth
India's leader, the Prime Minister, made a big promise in a speech on Independence Day.
He said one crore (that's ten million) young people can learn about artificial intelligence, or AI, for free.
AI is the technology that helps computers do smart things, like answering questions.
A minister named Bandi Sanjay Kumar said this is a wonderful gift for young people.
He thanked the Prime Minister for helping many people find jobs too.
But the minister was not happy with the state government of Telangana.
He said the state is not being open about how it shares free rice and other help.
He also said the state does not put the Prime Minister's photo on its ration cards.
The central government gives free rice to many families in Telangana.
The minister is asking the state government to be fair and transparent, and to work with the central government.
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement of free online AI training for one crore youth.
The announcement was made in Modi's 80th Independence Day speech from the ramparts of the Red Fort.
Sanjay Kumar called the move transformative for the nation's younger generation and thanked the PM on behalf of Telangana's youth.
He credited Modi with conducting Rozgar Mela and filling 12 lakh jobs as part of the Central government's employment commitment.
He criticized the Congress-led Telangana government for lack of transparency and for not displaying the PM's photo on smart ration cards despite the Centre giving free rice to 57 lakh cardholders.
