Thrissur Leads Kerala Cities in Oxford Global Ranking
Oxford Economics compared 1,000 cities around the world.
It looked at their economies, people, quality of life, environment and governments.
Thrissur was the highest-ranked city in Kerala.
It came 477th in the world and seventh among Indian cities.
Kochi ranked 489th and Kozhikode ranked 499th.
Seven Kerala cities were included in the list.
Delhi was the highest-ranked Indian city, while New York was the top city worldwide.
Thrissur moved ahead of Kochi because it performed better overall in this edition.

New York retained first place globally, followed by London and Paris; Delhi was India’s highest-ranked city at 268th globally.
