CWG bronze medallist Shilpa Shyla receives hero's welcome in Bengaluru
Shilpa Shyla is a sports star from India.
She throws a heavy ball called a shot put.
She did this so well at a big competition called the Commonwealth Games that she won a bronze medal.
That means she was one of the top three women in her event at the Games.
It was the first time she ever competed at the Commonwealth Games.
When she came home to Bengaluru, lots of people cheered for her at the airport.

She thanked the Government of India, the Karnataka government, the Paralympic Committee of India, the Sports Authority of India, and coaches Raghavendra, Eshwar and Sudhakar.
National Para Athletics Coach Satyanarayana said Shilpa has been selected for the upcoming Asian Games and backed her to keep winning medals.
India finished fourth in the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games medal standings with 39 medals (13 gold, 17 silver, 9 bronze), with para-athletes contributing seven.
