Two companies that help electric cars in India are becoming partners.

One company is called Indofast Energy, and the other is called GLIDA.

Indofast Energy makes stations where people can quickly swap out a car's empty battery for a full one.

GLIDA builds places where electric cars can plug in and charge.

They have decided to work together and put their machines in the same locations.

This means drivers can charge or swap batteries in one place instead of going to two different spots.

Over the next year, they want to open 50 locations with more than 100 swapping stations.

They will start by setting up 10 quick swap stations in three big cities: Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.

This should make it easier for people to keep their electric vehicles running.

The partners made the announcement on a Tuesday in the city of Mumbai.
