Ola Electric, Axis Energy Partner on Battery Storage MoU

Two companies in India made a big promise to work together.

One company is called Ola Electric, and it makes electric vehicles and batteries.

The other company is called Axis Energy, and it works in renewable energy.

They signed a special paper called a memorandum of understanding, which is like a promise to explore working together.

The plan is to build systems that can store up to 20 GWh of electricity by the year 2032.

Storing electricity is important because the sun does not always shine and the wind does not always blow.

A leader from Axis Energy said storing energy helps provide clean power all day and night.

Together, they want to figure out if Indian-made storage batteries can help support more renewable energy.
