Deputy CM Pathak Slams Akhilesh Yadav Over Brahmin Outreach

Two important leaders in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh are having a big argument.

Akhilesh Yadav leads a political party called the Samajwadi Party.

Brajesh Pathak is the Deputy Chief Minister and belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Yadav recently held a big meeting for the Brahmin community in Lucknow.

At the meeting he said his party cares about Brahmins, and he accused the state government of being unfair to them.

Pathak did not believe that Yadav truly supports Brahmins.

He pointed to a video where Yadav asked a journalist about his caste and told him, 'Mishra Ji, have some shame.'

Pathak said Yadav was only pretending to care, and that his party keeps power inside one family.

He said ideas should be answered with ideas, not with bitter or false accusations.

Both leaders say the other side is not telling the truth.
