Akhilesh courts Brahmins, says PDA includes Pandits
A man named Akhilesh Yadav leads a political party called the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh, a big state in India.

He accused the BJP-led Uttar Pradesh government of targeting opposition workers, Brahmins, and religious leaders, including Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati.
Yadav alleged the government denied permission to hold the event at Janeshwar Mishra Park in Gomti Nagar, forcing it to the party office.
He accused the BJP of neglecting Atal Bihari Vajpayee's legacy and claimed exam papers are deliberately leaked to deny jobs to the youth.
Yadav promised that a Samajwadi government would build a 'new Uttar Pradesh' and generate enough jobs so no young person suffers in search of work.
