Contempt, Containers And Clearance: Mohsin Naqvi Lays Down The Law For PTI’s Islamabad March | Exclusive Details · news18.com

Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi warned the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, or PTI, about its planned march to Islamabad.

He said security forces would stop anyone trying to enter the capital by force.

He also said groups could face contempt-of-court action for blocking public roads.

Naqvi said organisers would be responsible if people were hurt or killed.

Police may place shipping containers at entry points to improve security.

Naqvi said he personally does not like using containers for this purpose.

He asked opposition leaders to hold demonstrations in their own cities instead.

He also told Khyber Pakhtunkhwa officials to focus on counter-terrorism after the Kohat Police Lines suicide attack.
