Pakistan High Court Ends Solitary Confinement for Imran Khan
Pak HC bars solitary confinement for Imran Khan and wife Bushra Bibi, allows family visits, phone calls · wionews.com

A court in Pakistan said Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, must not be kept alone in prison.

They are being held at Adiala Jail while serving sentences in corruption-related cases.

The court said Khan should be allowed to meet Bushra and other family members under prison rules.

It also ordered officials to arrange phone calls between Khan and his sons.

Khan must receive newspapers, books, and medical care allowed by the rules.

Khan’s relatives and supporters had complained about limits on family contact and healthcare.

The government denied those allegations and said security concerns affected one hospital decision.

Pakistan’s Supreme Court will consider related issues on September 16.
