A car hit a small three-wheeled vehicle called an auto-rickshaw in Prakasam district in India.

Several people were hurt in the accident.

When people nearby looked at the car, they said they found about 2 kg of ganja and bottles of liquor inside.

Ganja is a drug that is not allowed in India.

The people were upset because police officers were traveling in the car.

A local leader named Dr Ashok Kumar said the police were carrying the ganja and liquor.

A senior police officer named Balamurali Krishna said that is not true.

He said the police had stopped to check a motorcyclist who was acting suspiciously.

He said the officers found the ganja and liquor during that check, and the car hitting the auto was just an accident.

The injured people were taken to the hospital by emergency services.
