A teenager named Amrutha Mutyala performed a very special Indian classical dance show called an Arangetram.

An Arangetram is the first big public performance a dancer gives after many years of training.

Amrutha learned Bharatanatyam, a classical dance style from southern India, from her teachers Guru Dr. Smitha Madhav and Smt.

Bhargavi Parameswaran.

She danced at the Ravindra Bharati auditorium in Hyderabad on August 7.

Her show included many different numbers, such as prayers to gods, a Varnam, a Thillana, a folk song and the national song Vande Mataram.

She also acted out stories from mythology, showing moments like the tale of Ganesha and Parvati's love for Lord Shiva.

Her teacher, Dr. Smitha Madhav, sang the music and kept the rhythm for her, and everything was recorded beforehand.

Special guests, including a professor and the chief executive of a learning centre, came to watch and support her.

The audience was filled with pride and joy, and the evening marked a beautiful new beginning for Amrutha's dancing journey.
