One Arrested After Theft at BJP Councillor’s Dehradun Home
Police in Dehradun have arrested a man in connection with a theft at a councillor’s home.
The man is Dinesh Sunar, who police say was identified in CCTV footage.
They arrested him at Basant Vihar Chowk on Tuesday night.
The theft happened on the night of September 29-30.
Police said the family was made unconscious by a sedative mixed into their food.
Cash, jewellery, watches and other belongings were taken.
Sunar reportedly told police that the group also stole Rs 2 lakh in cash.
Police say four other people, including Bharat Thapa, are still being sought.
